The Redhead Day is organized by a close team of enthusiastic people:

Bart, Cynthia, Denise, Eva, Freek, Gabrielle, Jasmijn, Maria, Mike, Peter, Reinier, Rick, Ricky, Saskia, Urbian and Wendy.

My name is Bart, I am the founder and festival director. It will probably not amaze you: I really like red hair.
In normal life I am a consultant. I work in the wonderful world of energy with power companies and ministries. Beside that I enjoy painting, I think you can guess my favorite subject to paint.

Organizing the Redheadday is a hobby that takes quite some time, but the reactions we got from participants in former editions were so overwhelming that they motivate me to keep going.


What does the Redheadday mean to me? It is my best creation yet. Even more beautiful than my best painting. And it`s far from finished. My ambition is to create an event which is known all over the world that will color a town red for an entire weekend.

During this event you will probably see me walking around, most of the time worrying if everything is going okay, but also very very proud. The event in 2012 should be a weekend never to forget. We have big plans, which unfortunally I cannot reveal yet. I`m looking forward to seeing you again in Breda.
